Dreams Hold The Future
Oh, woe be the hours in darkness
and beautiful in the light
the gaze of the sun whips me like a beast
and the glimmer of the moon puts me to sleep
anxious am I to meet the abyss of my unconscious mind
to what and whom I desire,
all can be achieved in the subdued land of ponderment
never shall I greet you warily
For I am alone, and my solitude
Is of words
The words that tell me that
I am not
Not
not of proper size
nor proportion
neither can I be what I aspire
those words tell me such,
because they carry no hope
hope I must carry myself instead
for I will not be weakened
in my dreams, I
Am all
