The Dock
The cool breeze running through my hair,
Holding hands staring out on the lake
Your smile, your eyes looking at me making me laugh
There isn’t a moment on that dock I want to erase
I snuggle in closer; you put your arms around me
I take one look at and I knew I wasn’t going to let you go
I couldn’t because you’re perfect to me
Being with you on that dock took away the worries the problems
It brought me peace, made me never want leave
Staring at the water and back at you
I realized
I love you with all my heart and soul
