'Never ruin an apology with an excuse'

Where the river ends
I hear my calling grave
Where the voices in my head
Shout rude, traumatizing names

Where the ocean ends
I have decided to save
The sound of death
Rolling on the waves

I have found where the river ends
Where they tide beats the cave
I have found where the voices
In my head stay

I have found where the ocean ends
The deathly waves I've saved
I have found where the deathly waves
are taking me today

To a place far away
I ride on the back of the wave
to a place unknown, though many go
Through a tunnel, to a cave

Where I find my everlasting grave

When I was going through a difficult time in my life, like most teens do, I needed a way to escape and to write m feelings out, poetry helped me to do so.
