featherweight perfection
is a lie
we have girls who binge,
starving and purging
trying to fit society's expectations
so now i must write myself,
write myself a letter
Dear Stomach,
Please get smaller,
before my bones crumble
and my lungs cave in,
cause i don't want to
gain an ounce.
