You were the one person I could never understand,
You became the only mystery I could read for a lifetime,
You were completely out-of-the-blue and unplanned,
You became my crutch and only guiding sign.

You were a wish that never left my lips,
You became a piggybank of all my dreams,
You were a place I never thought I could fit,
You became arms in which I could forever lean.

I was a silly girl who was lovestruck,
I became a silly girl who was deserted,
I was a lily who, in your hands, was tucked,
I became a faint fragrance that abated.

Congratulations on finally getting rid of me,
The clingy girl is broken and you are finally free.
