Silhouette
A silhouette of spider webs
Drown my memories
I cannot blow them away
And I can't find the
Spider who spun the
Original web
The light is faint
But the shadow is so vibrant
As I reach out
It shatters
Reality snaps back
Just a little reminder
That I can look
But not touch
These things that
Were once mine
Are now no longer
They may hang high
In every door way of opportunity
But I can no longer
Claim them as my own
Because that spider spins webs
Around all the things
I have ever known
