Oh how a girl craves,
Craves the pebbles taptaptapping on her window,
And the guy all suave and enamored,
Calling her name,
With a flower in his hand,
Moonlight walks,
Cheesy letters and cheesy movies,
Kisses under mistletoe and conversations that never end,
How she craves the dance in the rain,
And evenings just holding each other,
Songs he wrote and played on his guitar,
That’s all she craves,
But that’s not what she needs,
The romantic stories never mattered,
Never swayed how she felt,
When all she asked,
When-when all I asked!
Was for you to love me,
And to be there,
You weren’t there…
How could you?!
When I listened to your every word,
When I was there?!
I never asked for anything more,
Wasn’t I enough?!
What did I do wrong?
You, you weren’t good enough,
It wasn’t me,
I did my best,
And you just stopped caring,
How could you?
How could you?!
I thought you loved me…
