Wishing On Sleepless Dreams
In the dark sun I lay, reaching and waiting for the light.
Slowly I close my eyes, wishing for sweet dreams tonight.
Flashbacks and memories, too quickly they pass.
I awake in cold sweat yet again, breathing way too fast.
I crash land on the clouds, my friends who live up in the sky.
Scared too look down with a fear of falling, I'm far too up too high.
Hello Moon, good evening Stars, may I wish upon you?
If seeing is believing, let my eyes see my dreams, my wishes come true.
Sitting, thinking and waiting, with happy feelins galore.
I see your face and I'm overwhelmed by sadness, smiling no more.
Inhale deep shaking from fear, exhale slowly my one mistake.
I've made a decision now, changing my fate.
I take a mighty leap, with the cool wind in my hair.
My heart singing once again, while I'm standing on the air.
I lose myself in time, for the only clock is broken.
Hitting reality too hard, my body like my heart, is frozen.
Alive though my soul escaped, and I left my heart for you.
Finally in peace, bleeding red ink I write; "Dreams do come true".
In the dark sun I lay motionless, trying to avoid the light.
I close my eyes for one last time, and my sleepless dream came true tonight.
