On an island
In the rainforest

Night falls
With silence.

Then a symphony
Of voices

A choir
Of frogs

Sings.

There are tenors
and altos

All perfectly
Tuned
For the

World.

But where
Is the audience?

Left before the show ended
Or didn’t buy their tickets
They just didn’t

Care.

They tore down
The concert halls
To make way
For something new.

No longer treasured
That symphony
Except for

Dinner.

And so
I will hear nothing

If I stand in
The rainforest.

Because there
Forevermore

Night falls
With silence.

I heard about this website called savethefrogs.com. They were to make people aware that human activities were causing the extinction of thousands a frog species, some of which have already gone extinct. I just want to help spread the word.

You know, I'm going to start a thread on Random Thoughts and Basic Chat about if you could be an animal, what would you be and why?  Care to join? :D

I like a lot of animals, I'm a big animal person. :)

If I could be an animal, I would be a swan because they swim and fly and walk, they can do anything, and they really love each other, they are just the most beautiful creatures.

But I think a lioness fits me better because I think it fits my personalty more.

If I could have any animal as a pet, I would have a Pomeranian or a         chow-chow dog.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of frogs. I'm not scared of them, I like holding them and petting them, I don't think it would be bad to be a frog, they are just not my cup of tea.

And hey!  Not all frogs are poisonous and acutally the most poisonous ones are the most colorful, the prettiest.

Mostly what I'm talking about are card and dice games, World of Warcraft is very nerdy though, and I've always thought it looked like fun. I love creating characters and worlds. I should probably write more :)

I've never played Dungeons and Dragons so yah, later generation however it's not from lack of trying that I haven't played fantasy computer games.  It's just difficult because my computer is pretty old so there's not a lot of space for them.  And it keeps downloading in the wrong spots and so I just gave up.  I tried Maple Story and World of Warcraft and neither worked on my computer but whatever.

I guess our Uncle's generation is made up of gaming nerds, video and otherwise.

My uncle P. would totally play those games! He plays fantasy games like Magic cardds and all that jazz, all sorts of fantasy rolegames.(I'm not sure if he plays War of Warcraft but I'll ask)

He's totally into that stuff, he spent most of his free time on those games (when he's not at work or hanging out with his fiance)

Most of his room is filled with stuff from fantasy jazz, like star trek memorbilla...etc

If you can dream fantasy, he has it!

He keeps meaning to get rid of it, but...

I think you get the picture, MY UNCLE LOVES FANTASY!

And his room is totally messy too, I always scold him about it! :)

That's basically how I am too, it's just that my uncles played Dungeons and Dragons a lot, and I saw a kind of performance art piece at the beginning of the Summer where some players had set up in a building behind a gallery and played for awhile. There was leftover food everywhere :)

I don't play fantasy rolegames like that. I play board games like UNO and Monopoly, games that everyone knows.

I haven't even played the game I'm thinking of, and I don't think it involves a board. Ever heard of Dungeons and Dragons? Or any other fantasy roleplay games like that?
