Once upon a time
I believed I couldn’t live
Without a man in my life
But now I see
I don’t need anyone but me
Because I’m the only one
That knows how to make me happy
If believing is seeing
Then I’m partially blind
Because I hardly believe in love
I barely believe in you
I believed we were true
But I guess I was fooled
Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on who
Me?
But we
Cannot be
As a team
But apart
You have my heart
And that’s what is
Hurting me
