"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds ways to kneel and kiss the ground." - Rumi

We snuck away into the night
From the castle by moonlight
And stopped beneath a snow white tree
The encroaching darkness made it hard to breathe

It's now or never, she needs to know
And chance a kiss before she goes
But midnight struck the heavy air
The only love I'd ever dared

I was left alone in thought
The only battle I'd ever fought
To lose it all was a shame
All I had was myself to blame

We lived a lover's only dream
But now it's come apart at the seam
I fear to call this off as fate
Because what if I will never wake?
