Hovering
While I float and drift away,
the sky quickly loses its gray.
Higher and higher I fly,
Buildings look like specks in my eye.
Faster and faster I go.
Wave at the angels who say hello.
Quicker and quicker I glide,
taking a star for a ride.
Feel like a fairy as I whisk,
past the planets in a brisk.
Hovering, hovering, hovering.
Falling and falling I start.
The angels drive away and the buildings start to part.
Losing contorl as the sky goes to gray.
My mind, back in school, must've gone away.
Had a fun journey, I heard my mind say.
