i dont know,
i try to speak,
but words won't come out,
instead tears leak.

eyes wide open,
a mouth shut tight,
a hidden face,
without a light.

panic with a touch,
a heart full of fear,
scary thoughts,
cover words that i hear.

i'm not broken,
yet they try to fix me,
i can't be repaired,
i'm dead can't you see.

you don't,
but you act like you care,
and yes i'm selfish,
we're both unfair.

i count your steps,
as you walk away,
hoping that you'll turn around,
and say everything will be okay.

but that won't happen,
i'm on my own,
even though so many say,
that i'm not alone.

all i want is your goodbye,
the last hug that shows you once cared,
the comprehension and understanding,
of all my secrets i have shared.

your silence kills me,
acting; but my eyes easy to read,
there's so much pain,
no matter what i bleed.

maybe not physically,
but deep inside,
i bleed till death,
staining; i try to hide.

you hugged me soaked in blood,
stopped the bleeding,
i actually thought for a moment,
it was the beginning of my healing.

but all you did was stab my heart,
once you pulled out your knife,
i began to bleed again,
and what spilled was my life.

i say stay,
and then you sigh,
stop your lying,
and just say goodbye.

your last poem,
your last everything,
not a single tear,
now i give you nothing.
