It’s nice to hear
That I’m no longer held dear
My heart still aches
But what a difference it makes
Knowing how you really feel
HA! I thought we had a deal
Hoped deep inside you still saw the real me
I’ve not changed but you disagree???
Every night, in tears I suffocate
All the while all you feel is hate
It hurts that you see me that way
It burns when you glare and turn away
The rumors and lies about me
Suddenly make you despise me
I’ve done a lot of wrong
I admit
But the list of lies, so long,
I didn’t commit
