The Storm
Thunders dance and roar.
Lightning dances jubilantly.
The sea wages its war,
While the winds shift rapidly.
But the ship sailed on.
The typhoons turned and the tsunamis attacked.
Skies turned skull black as if all hope was gone.
But the flag vowed never to detract.
The storm got worse and the lightning flashed angrily.
BOOM! CRACK! said the maddening thunder.
But the flag was laughing joyously.
Is this all they got? My hopes will never plunder.
I look toward the horizon under the azure stricken gold sky.
As I, the dreamer, happily set sail in the eye of the storm yelling bonsai!
