I remember when I hated you.

I remember when I felt you didn't deserve a name.

I called you 'it' and dreaded looking at you.

I remember hearing your voice,

and thinking it as nails on a chalk board.

I hated seeing your striped jacket everyday.

Purple and black, I believe it was.

But now that has all changed.

I hardly hear your voice.

I hardly see your face.

I hardly know what it's like to know you.

I can hardly remember anything about you.

The last hints of your image are when I call you just to hear your voice then hang up.

You'll softly say 'hi',

Then become more aggrevated by my non-existing response.

I'll hang up,

Then text you like nothing happened and giggle.

We would text every waking hour of the day.

We would talk about life.

What we wanted to do later in life,

I guess.

But now we only text at 4am.

And the chances of getting a reply are 3 in 10.
