love is so many things

love is like a flower
it lives but eventually
dies like they know its time
to leave and go on
love is like a beach
it kisses the shore
so sweetly then resents
and goes away like
nothing ever happened
love hurts and sooner
or later you will regret
what you have created
it breaks you down so hard
it almost kills you inside
and you turn so different
everyone who loves you
sees it too
