Never
As I rest my porcelin cheek against the cold rough marble,
And trace my fingers in the already worn letters over and over,
My soul searching for yours unable to find it,
My tears stroking the electric stone and falling down into the ground below.
My baby blue eyes staring out into space,
Day dreaming about you and I,
What we once were,
What we can't be anymore.
I rest my hand on the top of this gravel stone,
Heaving my weary body onto my feet,
I look down at where you'll be staying for now on and think,
"I'm going to miss the feel of your breath on the nape of neck as we watched the stars together."
The stars twinkle before me,
Guiding me home,
Gleaming while they dance an extravagant dance,
Holding hands like we used to.
I miss you my love,
I'll never forget you,
And now,
With the stars as my memory,
I never will...
