Or to the future...

Perhaps staying here is better.

In the dark- the dank

We'll wander, our glazed

conformist



eyes

Falling Forward, from Night

toward Incinerator's Light

Burn

Shiver but dont get cold-

Never burn

never feel-

Acting in the eyes of Watchers

for our Souls Must Never...





We Can Never...

Reach for Freedom-

No, wait, Take your hand Away

You'll be Burned.

There will be pain....

isnt it so much Easier to


Follow.



Stay.




Act Like.



Talk Like.


Be Me!

Idividuality is the Crime-

The sentence...

A Murdered Heart

A dying soul....

We'll make it so!

They are a danger....

A light.....

They seek the end of our safe night...

Our thoughtless plight....

Never Reach-

Never Fight.

Trust Us, We Are Right.

You'd Burn in Real Freedom's Light.

Turn your back of them...

Turn away...

Their's is a cold....

Unending....

Night.

Burn with us.... in Freedom's light....

I've seen so many people fall victim to this.... It's time we take a stand and realize that things dont have to be this way.

I loved the way you formatted this-you definitely held my attention. In the line, "Individuality is the crime", you forgot to add the 'n' but that's not too big of a deal. I really liked this poem. Please...write more :D

I completely agree with PaRaNoRmAl627. This is truly all around beautiful. I love the spacing--it adds to the poem a lot. This is wonderful :)

Wow. This is haunting, honest, brave, eloquent, and all around beautiful. Don't ever stop writing. You have a lot of talent :) I didn't see any glaring grammatical errors either, which is a major plus. Great job! Five stars :)
