\\\\\\\"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That\\\\\\\'s why its called the present.\\\\\\\"

\\\\\\\"When life gives you lemons, make grape juice. Then sit back and watch as the world wonders how you did it.\\\\\\\'

Shrieks come from the other room
He shoves the earphones in.
As he tries to find a way
To suffer from within.

The cries come closer, clearer.
He turns the volume high.
But they’re louder than ever,
Popping his eardrums dry.

As sharp as a butchers’ knife,
The yells cut through the sky.
There’s nothing he can do now,
But listen and stand by.

Tries to reach his happy place,
Which used to be his home.
Now he tries to run away,
From the place he has known.

The words become distinct,
But just barely succinct.
Now he can hear their screams,
That’ll haunt him in his dreams.

How much longer can this last,
Please make it stop, he prays.
But God forgot to listen,
Too lost in his disgrace.

What has the world come to now,
When a child can’t be free
From the horror in the world,
That clutters with debris.

He sits there, tears rolling down
As he sees with his eyes.
The parents that brought him up,
That he’ll grow to despise.
