Stay strong soldier, keep the faith
dont show pain, know your place,
if you live, good luck,
heres a medal, buck up,
you're a hero,
so what if you saw your friends die,
so what, if you'll never be right in Gods eye?
you're a hero, badge of honor,
so what if for a second,
you thought you were a gonner?
they salute you,
show you respect, grace,
then they call on you to fight,
kill another man, a woman's child,
her life.
yes, the battle rages on,
and off the field.
