Batiste, charmeuse, chiffon
Crepe, damask, faille
Organza, pique, satin
Even taffeta
It could have been yours
Love
The Minotaur of your mind
Only it knows the way out
Kill it to escape
A blade
Curiously colorless
Like a wedding dress
The crimson now conspicuous
The path once clear
Now serpentine
The end is near
Or is it?
