Lion's Mane

My hair is a funny thing
My feeling just the same
It’s gold and brown and fluffy big
Just think a lion’s mane
I say I hate all the time
and mostly yes it’s true
But when I stare awhile
Just soaking in the view
It takes on a whole new life
And I learn to love the hue
It’s not flat or boring
Not thin or frail or meek
It’s strong and thick and passionate
And that’s what people seek
