Brushing shoulders
passing in a doorway
our eyes not meeting
yes, you found someone
new
a icicle stabbed down
into the depths of my heart
slowly I pull this bloody dagger
out into the light,
reflections of our time together
glint in the sun.
A scab forms over my wound
