"Hey, assbutt!" Supernatural, Castiel.

Thousands of kids
Smashed into one school
All girls
Would it be easier or harder with boys?
You know the new ones
"Freshmen" We are called
Easy to be nicknamed
"Freshmeat"
We are the ones
Scurrying down the hall
Eyes darting
Like frightened little bunnies
Our eyes are like sad puppies
Kicked one too many times
Some talk
Most don't
For lack of things to say
I try my hand at awkward small talk
Even though I hate small talk
I'm so tired I have a handful of reminders
"Write R"
"Practice guitar"
"Wear cool pants to dance"
I don't know if my mother will allow
She doesn't like how I dress
Screw that!
In a cheesy uniform all day
Knowing no one in the halls
A sea of faceless blue
I'm wearing my skinny jeans when I get home

"Repeat the good and the bad. Do it all again. And pile on the years."

I agree! This was filled with humor and I loved how you narrated. It really made this poem wonderful. Is this you?

She can because she thinks she can.

i love the sense of fear and helplessness as the narrator is being forced to go to the school. also the attitude is a great sense of humor. great poem.
