A Dream in Reality
I hear your siren toned voice
As the harsh wind blows by
Whispering my name
I catch a brief whiff of your seductive scent
As that gust of a unending breeze
Never passes me by
I taste your distinctive lips
As I roll my tongue across mine
Though ours have never met
I feel your soft and strong hands
Gripping the sides of my face
In a gentle embrace
I see your magnificent eyes
Boring into mine
Seeing all there is to see of me, and more
Every time I close my eyes
You’re there, waiting for me, smiling
But when I open them again
You’re gone.
