A Memory List.
Page after page of patented past,
the prostitutes of pointless pencils.
They patiently wait to be read,
to render a rented reality-
They are stargazing stillborns
With a prenatal destiny.
Empty epiphanies etched
Beside margins marked in red.
Long live the list of lies-
Of cursive, heart-topped i's.
