Why is there all this hate in the world
Why do we have so much sorrow
What is the point of being drowned in grief
With no hope for a new tomorrow

Why do we heavy our souls
With all the burdens from our past
Instead we need to look to the future
For good memories in our minds to last

We cover ourselves to hide our pain
Blankets upon blankets of guilt
So much heaviness we can no longer life ourselves
Completely broken and no longer built

We shouldn’t let hurt run our lives
We need to learn to forgive those we love
Jealousy can tear even the strongest person apart
But friendship can cure all the bad from above
