He has me,
In his trance.
My heart as,
Rugged as a lance.

His eyes stare me down,
Making me feel smaller.
Even though he is,
Growing ever taller.

Acting like a,
Compliment factory.
It is actually,
Somewhat satisfactory.

I fall short,
Of the mark.
I feel like,
I am crawling in the dark.

His eyes lure me,
Into the light of love.
The gracefulness he uses,
Reminds me of a dove.

Finding a person,
Who makes you blush.
Is like the first,
Time you develop a crush.

We met on luck,
When our fates collided.
When I called out,
He seemed provided.

Following my every move,
Almost as if trying to pursue.
He is sticking to my heart,
Just like a fading tattoo.

Stealing his heart,
I feel like a thief.
As if scuba diving,
And finding a rare reef.

Therefore I turn to my friends,
Hearing nothing but answers.
Their thoughts invading,
As if it is cancer.

I am left on my own,
For they know not what I feel.
Nor do they see why I’ve fallen,
Almost head over heels.

The upheaval in my chest,
Causing me to lose balance.
My friends swarm around me,
Obviously being obsessed.

The time has come for it,
When my conclusion is revealed.
It has been a hard journey,
That I must admit.

He stole my heart successfully,
To him I give his back.
I feel that I have made him wait,
For when it is no longer stressful.
