To You I am
To you I have one emotion: Happiness,
As if I’m a robot stuck on smile.
To you I get things handed to me,
My life laid in a straight line.
To you I am a smart-alec,
Always trying to show people up.
To you I can’t be trusted,
Like a spy from another country.
To you I am a princess,
So perfect and so polished.
To you I am full of myself,
Bagging and Bragging to other people.
To you I am your enemy.
But if you knew the real me,
I am not a robot,
I laugh and cry and shout angry words.
I wonder from the path in front of me,
Searching and fighting for an unique life.
I wonder about many different things,
Asking for help is often for me.
My spy adventures stay in books,
The book of trusted secrets.
My princess life left behind in my dreams,
As I fight like a knight in armor to do my best.
I tell lots of my accomplishments, yes it’s true,
But you do too, don’t you?
I try not to be your enemy,
So please listen to this:
Everyone has flaws,
Everyone has to work their way to the top,
Everyone is the same,
whether you like it or not.
So it’s not my problem if you need an emeny to compete with,
Just tell me when you want to be friends.
I’ll still wait, even if you’ve done horrible things.
For everyone needs a friend,
And No-one has too many.
