solitary, with an empty house for a home.
i've seen you cry, and you make me smile.
won't you please stay for awhile?

solitary, with an empty heart for a home.
my hand belongs in yours; here, take it, please do.
this house, this heart was empty because i couldn't find you.

Wow, this poem was exactly what the title described (I loved the title by the way). I like the way that this is written, almost like a plea. It's very touching, in a slightly desperate kind of way. :) Well done, m'dear.
