Let it pulse through me, so I can hear,
the bass thudding loud, in my ear.
Turn it up, high as it'll go,
now is not the time to go with the flow.
The beat is getting faster, my body's hard to ignore,
I'm gonna let it blast, and head out to the floor.
The music is filling me up, everything else is fading away,
it's all I'm thinking about, I can't tell night from day.
I need music, it's my drug, my soul, my life,
whenever I turn it on, it seems I'm free of strife.
Music is the only thing keeping me alive.
