Here we are in chemistry class. There's no chemistry in this room, though.....it's an all-girls school and no one's brave enough to be lesbian.

When I'm gone, do you think of me?
I sit in bed and dream of things we say
In the quiet of my solitude, I smile and push back my hair
Lace and twist my fingers, let my heart ache a little
In my luck to have such a kind boy to think about
Wish for --
Your soft fingers lying round my own (beautifulpalelong)
The grain of your hair between my rolling fingertips (roughdarklovely)
The crush of your body, and the way we fit together
Like puzzle pieces made of cosmic energy
Come together in the neverending strain of stars and symbols
Deep inside our deepest consciousness
The only thing left

is the past

our memories
Breaking through the eons, threading through time --
Your kiss mingling with mine.

This is about my boyfriend. I hate that word, by the way. It sounds so juvenile. But we've been together for almost two years, and I really do love him. It's a great relationship. I leave every summer for a three-week music camp, and miss him incredibly. But it's a nice ache.
