Under The Bridge

After lie and line again
I have seemed to forget
What it is to hear the truth
Especially from you
I have missed you as my friend
yet I doubt I will ever forget
What you did was misdirected
and I swear it may be under the bridge
I have tried to forgive you so many times
But, all I ever get in return is lies
You have broken my trust again
and I'll tell you, you can't be forgiven
It is as I look back at it now
I really wonder how
We've never been able to put this
all under the bridge
