Eyes.
And the smile on his face
Could not trace
The frown in his eyes
Drowning in the vast, blue sky
And the laughter was just a front
What more could he want?
To love a girl
Who was his world
I'd do it all again for you
I'm falling into the fragmentary blue
And the clouds that I see
Are filled with mystery
And the words I now write
Fade into twilight
With the setting sun
What has begun?
But a windowless dream
What could this mean?
Look into my eyes
And you will find
A man in a hole
Transcribing his soul
And he writes and he writes
To postpone the coming night
And so he writes...
