Love fades
You can say it all you want but it may never be true
If love fades then you would fade too Because love is a dream, then a snap of blissful reality
And that's exactly what you are

If you faded then i would too
Because you are my love
My one and only
And it is only you that would ever truly just fade away from me

I am clumsy as a newborn horse and stubborn as a mule
And I chew my gum too fast, and my hair flies all around me
Never wanting to stay in place
And you loved me

But then again
Love fades

its basically me saying how imperfect i am and my knowledge of him loving me and then him lying straight to my face and saying 'love fades'. I'm preaching to the choir here. Let them go.
