Unheard Acceptance
I can’t believe I’m doing this
I'm watching you walk away
Your back is turned
You’re on your way to a life
Without the burden of me
You left me with strangers
Nobody I knew
My life was your mistake
A damper on you life
A naive, ignorant child I was
however, growing up, experiencing life
my thoughts have grown less centered
around all things that were me
I started thinking about reasons
why’s and what-made-yous,
and I have thought long and
hard
you left when I was younger
I don’t really remember you
you don’t remember me at all
but, I love you
no matter what people believe
or try to make me believe
I love you, always have
I now understand you reasons
I get you point of view
you weren’t ready
to look after an infant
child, daughter
you hold a chunk of my heart
I cry for our lost relationship sometimes
and laugh at things I could picture us doing
but know now, please hear me
I forgive you
I love you
Rose,
my mother
