Where has time gone my friend
Past endeavors they did end
My being crushed letting go of dreams
The insides of me breaking at the seams

Bursting with life becoming new
You may think I long for you
That is where your wrong my friend
Past endeavors, they did end

I wrote this piece, because I went through a difficult break-up. However, now I realize that I'am better off, and I shouldn't try to go back to something that doesn't work.
