he loves me.
i know he does.
he tells me he does.
we share, we laugh, we joke, we kiss.
he knows me better than i know myself.
we are together, we are one.
we are LOVE.

it happened.
the worst possible thing.
the line of trust,
broken and shattered.
like when a storm hits and a telephone pole falls.
it ruins everthing.
he is the telephone pole.
ruining everything.

more rumors got out.
more people found out.
and he came back crying to me.
and as much as it hurt me,
i pretended not to care.

and so i ignore the looks,
and the whispers,
and the texts,
and the late night phone calls.
i try my hardest not think of him.
but thats like trying not to breathe,
pointless.
