when i saw you walk by
like i had cried
like i wanted to cry
like my heart had broken

but really it was because
i miss you
but really it was that glance
i thought you gave me
but really it was self-pity
for how we don't ever see eachother
enough

i know i want to be with you
i know i need you to live
