Silver Stars
Your heart is like a safe.
Clutching inside of it silver stars
Protected by an iron lock
And several iron bars
You threw away the key.
Buried it so know one would know.
What you really carry inside of you
You never want to show.
I tasted what you’re made of.
Had a glimpse of your light
But then you blindfolded my eyes.
And left me without a fight
It appears that apart from the stars
You carried darkness too.
Evil, pain, and carelessness
Were all that you found true
I wish that you would notice
That your eyes would be open
That your cares would come back
And that your chains would be broken
I want to break open your heart.
Infiltrate your mind
Go back to the start
And put it all behind
