A Decision for the Worst

I tear at this deformed flesh
Wishing my tears would melt it away
And bitter cries to scare it into the depths
And I cannot rip it off for it would be my death
But if I stop for just one sitting, one meal, one day
Then maybe two and work up to three
Maybe it will dissolve away, quicker faster than before
Leaving me and taking my agony
Maybe, Oh maybe it will take the pain
