sun is no longer shinning
I close my
eyes
And it’s just you and me
The world melts away
We’re in the grassy meadow
you weren’t there
The sun is shining
Because it has to be
Because you’re the sunshine
Only I’m not with you
I close my eyes tighter
We’re running in the meadow
Hand in hand
Yours is bigger
Stronger
I fall over, exhausted
Laughing and happy
Except the sun isn’t shining
And it’s dark
And it’s cold
And alone
You’re not there
I reach out for you
and grasps air
nothing to hold on
you weren’t there
I close my eyes
