Envy.
That dull, jagged blade slides through her entity,
Set on a path of destruction that will inevitably be her downfall,
Throbbing constantly, threatening to burst free,
To find some means of escape.
It festers and bubbles, rising gratuitously.
There’s no stopping it.

Her lips clench together,
Screams of bitterness now desperate to be released,
But her conscience battles the demon within.
Silly girl, she’s not strong enough to fight the darkness,
The evil that seems to slither inside her mind,
The little tendrils of corruption instilling itself within her soul.

It consumes her, seeps into any crevices of innocence left.
Sleaze. It takes hold of the shell that it now resides in.
The creature behind the mask laughs, for she is gone.
Envious Rage is victorious.
The beast is freed.
