Waiting around all day
Hoping you would just say
A single word,
A single phrase.
Because when our eyes meet,
My whole world is a hush
So my face starts to blush.
Sorry if I am staring,
But I cannot get enough of
Your dreamy eyes,
Dreamy look,
Dreamy voice.
So please don’t walk away,
Because each step you take,
I have to give you
The smile that’s fake.
Just give me a chance,
I promise I can make it worth wild
If only you would just say
A single word,
A single phrase.
