It is one of those days
When the sky is such a piercing blue
The brightness fading off into the distance
Like a painting
Or a song.
That beautiful long note of sky
Sustained in a gradual decrescendo
A few clouds thrown on-
A descant of violins floating subtly,
Balancing the purity of base line blue
With it’s diverse white whisp.
A day you can only appreciate
If your mind flies above the trees
Interfering like a chattering audience.
Clear away distractions,
And lose yourself in blue.

Hi guys! This is a pair poem, so look for the other one under the same name on my page. (A pair poem is 2 poems written about the same thing at different points of time or from different points of view.) Thanks! :)
