The Enigma of The Room
I’m stuck.
Trapped inside a room with no doors or windows.
Just walls. Grey walls. Ugly. Grey walls.
Trapped.
The bleary existence of this room bothers me.
But I’m stuck, so what’s the point of trying?
I sigh.
There are no more paths for me to take.
There needs to be. Where’s the door?
There has to be a door.
If I got in there’s obviously a way to get out.
Where?
Not in here.
So this is one Chinese finger trap I’m not getting out of.
There is a way out! I know there is!
Why can’t I find it?
All these people enter the room,
I see them, I swear!
But they get out.
I don’t.
How do they get out?
I do exactly what they do!
I try, I Try!
I’m still stuck.
Maybe it’s because my mind and heart are arguing.
No that’s stupid actually.
Hearts don’t argue.
My mind is arguing with itself.
It knows what it wants.
It just can’t get there.
Because there is no door.
Guess I’ll just have to make it myself.
But with what?
