We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Everything I never said
Comes out with this pen
The words you wouldn't listen to
Are written down instead
I wish I could take it back
But what would be any different
Confusion of this reality
I think I'm losing my mind
Lost in the hope of the sky
But atleast it's mine
Lonlyness surrounds me
Shrouding me almost in comfort
Unwanted in sanity
So maybe I should just join the crowd
Their answers make sense
My tears blend in
I raise my hand
Only to have it shrival away
I can't just follow follow you silently
I need sound,
I need touch,
I need love
But not in this world
A world so full of hate
That love is scorned
Scorned for my choices
Scorned for my mistakes
Achivements forgotten
Blue skys or blue eyes
What is better?
Red stains or red marks
What is worse?
I want to make this brief
But I never win
So I commit the ultimate sin
Filled with pain both mental and physical
Is the numbness that follows worth being cynical ?
I can't say no to even my cry, so tell me why
Why does the sun shine when my mother cries?
Why did the sun rise when I saw her die?
Why do the flowers bloom when he tells me lies?
Can I know the truth so I can move along
Move on, into the realm of oblivion
But my hands are tied
I cannot do a thing
Please just try again
Take my arms and take flight
So we can start over again
Everything I never said
Comes out with this pen
The words you wouldn't listen to
Are written down instead
