Can you fix something in the midst
Of It's breaking?
Or must you wait
For complete desecration of the Soul,
Before you begin a Resurrection of
The broken and Tender spirit?

Can restoration of the weak begin
Now, as they fall apart? Or must
Every piece be torn away and every
Hope be dashed or fade?
Like a Flower it dies slowly till there's
Nothing left. A lifeless form lying
Still, and alone, and frail.

The author's comments:
I have to be inspired to write a poem, a good good one anyway. But I always carry a pen and pad of paper because you never know when that inspired moment might take place. I was at reunion with my family and there was no quiet place to sit. I ended up on the steps covering my ears and letting the words fight their way past the noise.

I said it once I'll say it again. almost all my poems are in a bit of a jumble due to idk I had them in the correct formate and when I submitted them they got messed up!

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your support. Hopefully a few of my other poems will be posted soon, they take FOREVER to post stuff.

Full of emotion! i LOVE that! You have worked your way into my heart as a writer. :)

It's really great, and i can tell that this wasn't a fake "oh i'll write this to seem dark or cool" kind of thing, it's genuien (idk if thts right llol) and that's what makes it great. :)
