Just a few moments ago
I gave you this long note
I hope that you will read this
And love what I have wrote
I put it in your hand
And hoped you’d understand
How I love you more than everything
More than the air I breathe
I want to kiss your gentle lips
And never let you leave
I want to lie beside you
Beside you while you sleep
I want to share our thoughts and dreams
In love with you, so deep
I’m in love with every move you make
And every chance you take
I hope that now you see
How I love you more than everything
More than the air I breathe
So now you’ve read my note,
And I hope you’ll never leave…

The author's comments:
I used to pass a lot of notes when I was in Jr. High. Most of the time I wouldnt get caught but I did once... and it just so happens that my teacher decided she would read it out loud to the class... Now my whole class knows this poem!
